LCA Supermarket Sushi is a limited-edition Robusto built around a rare experimental Ecuadorian wrapper. Created by crossing Habano and Sumatra seed, the tobacco was originally grown on a small test plot and produced a distinctive leaf that never entered regular commercial production.

Privada Cigar Club paired this unusual wrapper with a Dominican binder and fillers from Peru, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, then aged the finished cigars for two years. The result is a layered profile with notes of cedar, roasted peanuts, baked bread, red pepper, cinnamon, cream, and cocoa, with touches of honey and graham cracker appearing early in the experience.

The name “Supermarket Sushi” reflects the idea behind the release: something unexpectedly good at a price well below what its quality might suggest. With the experimental wrapper produced in limited quantities and unlikely to be grown again, Sushi is a particularly distinctive release from Privada Cigar Club.
